Guessing from its "yellow Devil" colour, its off a mid '70s Australian Clubman. There's one the same on ebay Australia, but it was orange and is £1052.11 cheaper.

just goes to show, its possible to chop a mini too much.

its also a good idea to mock the grill and lights up to make sure everything fits before you do!

It all come down to quality, some gears have been remade but they seem to be made of cheese hence the price nos goes for.

we have been through this before on here.....


to reproduce the outer track would cost thousands, its just about the worse part of the gearbox to make!

I just don't think there is a large enough market to support the price that the item would have to make it a viable product to remanufacture. its been on our 'maybe' pile for about 10 years........

How sad then, those with 3-synchro boxes are running on borrowed time (but then I suppose we all are ).
