In the paddock area at Le Mans in '66, a nice Mk1 Morris Cooper behind the Ferrari Dino 206S with what looks like a Downton or Speedwell badge on the bootlid…

The McLaren car still exists. Was restored a number of years ago. Had it though my workshop and refitted engine, suspension and a few other bits and bobs.

Ok, the ‘period’ is three days ago, and the photo is blurry. But it’s still a nice picture :)

"Brigitte Bardot's white Mini Moke was kept at her La Madrague home in St Tropez, parked next to her second Mini Moke, also from 1967 but in dark green. It was sold for € 23,000 in an auction held in Brussels (2012) using a photo of the car. The proceeds of the sale were donated to the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. This was a very good price. In the auction catalogue, it was estimated at between € 10,000 and € 15 000. It was sold to Brigitte Bardot on 1 January 1967 as new and delivered to Saint-Tropez. It is one of the few cars left of the first series produced in England between 1964 and 1968. La Madrague is the famous property acquired by Brigitte Bardot in 1958 overlooking Saint-Tropez, on the Baie des Canebiers."

TOTAL MENTALIST!

Reduces the risk of a bad back & DRAMATICALLY Increases the chances of decapitation even in the most minor of car park bumps!

Not to mention the social disadvantages of warning everyone you are a totally bonkers long before you have alighted from your bespoke transport.
