Good project. It doesn't look as rusty as most does it. The front seats'll need more than just hide food and someone's already (predictably) had the stainless door trims off it for their "Cooper replica" 8-) .

Anyone seen this, not a Mini but a stunning car for people interested in the tuning & modification of classic BMC vehicles ;) If it's as well prepared as it looks, it's a lot of car for the price of a works replica Cooper S in similar condition. A superb looking car, but a real works replica would have the front number plate on the front of the bonnet bulge. If I win the lottery tomorrow, it's mine! 8-)

Hello

It's a not a real barn find,

The car seems to have been restored before as you can see the front panel has been replaced..

As for me it's a SPQR remote gear shift

He he, I saw it last time it was "offered" its very nice, but I cant justify the price .

I am currently planning another trip to England this year, and that has higher priorety.
