Re: Blyton Park Action Day 2024
thats a bit tricky to call, but in view of the weather forecast I'm expecting it to be a very busy day.
and with Blyton its quality over quantity

Re: Blyton Park Action Day 2024
Not long back home after another amazing action day.
As ever, a huge thanks to Mark, Pete and others behind the scenes for making sure it all went to plan (even if there isn't actually a plan, it looks like there is!), and to the traders for emptying our wallets and filling our shelves / 'to-do lists'
The cars were, as ever, a great variety, with some amazing examples of standard cars, full on racers and cafe racers. Well worth the hours of traveling to get there (even if the return leg at the wheel of a Micra was not quite as entertaining being in the passenger seat of Robb's supercharged car in the photo, it was still good fun to rag someone else's toy like I stole it!
I look forward to the photos - I hardly took any as the sun made the phone screen tricky

This is really funny
Dave when we were watching the cars on the circuit late on, I stopped to talk to Steve as we left the banking..
Unfortunately they had stopped serving bacon butties then..

Re: Blyton Park Action Day 2024
I’d just like to add my sincere thanks to Mark & Pete again for putting this event together for us to enjoy, and all those who helped out on the day too.
Again, it was an event like no other I know, the shear quality and variety of the cars attending, the wonderfully committed track action to spectate, the camaraderie and good humour of everyone you bump into or chat to, and this year some sunshine too. I’m still trying to decide on my favourite bit from this years, but have to say watching Mark (& also a certain bearded gent) whizzing about the paddock in the Moke would put a huge smile on anyone’s face!
We made the trip over from Lancashire this year, so a fair old distance for our Tweed - a few hundred miles round trip by the time we were back home and delighted to say he equipped himself impeccably with a real mix of roads on the way!
Thanks again chaps, a wonderful day, and we’re already looking forward to next year.
(I have a few pics of the day too, which I’ll post up on here when I get a moment).
