I have had it confirmed that camping will not be an issue.

With the usual proviso that there will be no access for getting set up until 5.30 or at least after Saturday's track day attendees have vacated the paddock / camping area.

I would ask that any early arrivers, wait outside the gate until the paddock is substantially clear or until 5.30 comes around.

is the ground flat enough for a mobility scooter as my wife struggles to walk far, weather / water logged ground permitting as it looks like light rain that weekend otherwise i'll see if i can bring a wheelchair

Most of the paddock / display area is hard standing and reasonably flat. The camping area is grass, some pitches with electric hookup are available, but these are on a first come first served basis.

My camping days are pretty much over as I suffer from Oldfartisis, but I hope to attend with a mate who bought Mark and Rich's Mk1alike shell. Not in that car but another one.

Has anyone been to Blyton very recently and if so are the potholes on the access road just as bad as last year? I think it’ll be very busy next Sunday so I want to just make sure visitors are aware!

Potholes Pete? Hopefully not ones big enough to swallow a mk1? I’m presuming they’re ‘drive-roundable’ as it were, or should I be worried in our ‘65 Cooper running slightly lower than standard ride height? Cheers! Ed.

The section of potholed access road has been the same since our first event 10 years ago, it’s easy enough to avoid the holes with care and maybe has never been fixed to keep the speed down. Either way it’s wise for visitors to be aware.

Anyone worried can look on satellite imagery to plot a course. They are visible from space.

Sorry, I may have missed it, but I take it there is no Saturday night entertainment / talk this time?

I know it was getting harder to find folks from the 'good old days' who were still able to make the commitment.
