If the car you are thinking of is white, and not a Cooper you may well be right, that was the story that emerged when I owned it, unfortunately I could never prove it as despite being able to request the details of the previous owners everything that came through from its early life was redacted

I still have a key set for it somewhere (for the Landar locks), it popped up on eBay years ago in quite a state, it was a running / driving car when I had it (my daily for a while )

THAT REPORT IS TOTAL BOLLOCKS! THE VIN NUMBER ON THE CAR IS FOR A CLUBMN.

IT WAS RESUREDTED FROM A LOG BOOK ND LITTLE ELSE.

Please can I request that there is no further discussion of this particular car.

It will only lead to grief for me.

The one on the left does look like Paul Jones.

My guess is that is The Move from around 1966.
