I'd love to know how you fitted your wheel arch/sill trim so nicely. I have tried a few times but it always wants to kink at the bend going down to the sill.
Very nice looking car I must say!

Must say I’ve really enjoyed doing it.
As I’m nearly finished I made the mistake of adding up all the invoices last night .

Wife would like me to sell it but I’d like to use it first.
Friend of mine has an early 70’s 911 which needs restoring so think that might be the next project.
If anyone wants a genuine Cooper s I might be tempted to sell at some point.

Just collected it from southams just in time before the lockdown. Had a tune up and rolling road session.
Colin and the whole team are great to deal with! Highly recommended!
Took it for a cheeky spin yesterday. Very impressed with the engine.
Gearbox takes some getting used to though. .
Few little electrical bits to finish.

One "upside" to the lockdown is more time to read more of these build threads. I'm pretty certain I have the bloomin virus as I'm now at day 15 of feeling awful.. In any event, reading through your build has cheered me up no end! What a gorgeous car youve built! Absolutely wonderful:)

As I lie here coughing away, I realise I really need to get on and actually find a Cooper. The day before the lockdown I put the finishing touches to my 65 Lotus 7 and even managed to get a few miles in it!
I need a new project!

Could anyone recommend a nice quality spotlight setup, would like to use Lucas lamps. Only 2 at the front .

Hi. Not sure about the lamp bodies, but if you want top quality bulbs, I recently bought some LED bulbs for this chap.

They are to a proper design rather with integrated heat sink. I have them on my Lotus 7 and they are superb. They come with a "warm white" tint so look period but with excellent light. Maybe worth having a chat with him?

Pretty much finished now.
Swapped over to negative earth and fitted the Rev counter yesterday. What do you guys set the red line at on a 1275 mini?
Also last job on the list is getting the rear fog /spot to work. I’ll post a picture of the wires I have left. I ordered the loom with it all in ready to wire up.

So these are the wires I’ve got.

So,
Boot area - spare dark green and brown.
- red and yellow.

Cockpit-
Marked switch- red /yellow.

Marked rev spot- dark green/ brown.
- light green.

Marked rear fog- red.
- red/yellow.

What type of switch would you recommend and what wires go to which?
Also ignore the pink one that is Incase I fit an electric fan kit.
