"The Car has a Certificate from Mini Magazine confirming its authenticity" ?
So Mini Magazine delivers some kind of certificate ?!
The 50th anniversary certificates were issued world wide to every verified 1959 on the register by Mini Magazine in partnership with the 1959 Mini Register. Andrews car has one of those certificates.

Should have 'Guildford via Croydon' on the destination board and an advert on the side 'Barcelona Loans 0800 3-1 3-1 3-1'
Shame it's not made of plastic

That would be perfect if Leeds ever win anything again. Ken Bates doing it on the cheap as usual.

"AND I DO HAVE THE V5 TO GO WITH IT."
Yes a V5 that says Mini City first reg'd 1987, not one that says Mini-bus conversion. No chance of getting this road registered, I imagine that's why he's selling it.
The chances of that getting road registered & Leeds winning anything are, in my opinion about equal

holy christ, I thought the second link guy was having a laugh until I clicked the first one!
And the added irony is that the description says Mk1, but the packet clearly shows a Mk2..... wonder if the buyer will bump it when he sobers up?

Wow, over £400 for grille buttons! What would you do with them, fit them or sleep with them?! I thought I was a bit daft, but that takes the biscuit.

The prices these parts are now selling for are really annoying me, I think part of the problem is the quality of the reproduction stuff. If I had any idea of where to start I would look into reproducing parts to original quality, but unfortunately I don't.
However, it is not only the prices that I am finding difficult to accept. It's topics like these where everyone seems to be suggesting the people buying these parts are idiots to pay so much (although probably true in the instance of the grille buttons!). Well, I would very much like to know who is selling these parts at a more reasonable price? I am currently building 2 minis and I am finding it very difficult to get hold of certain parts, I often find the options to be pay the ridiculous eBay prices, or not have the part at all.
I am, in fact looking one of those long Wipac switches as I have a works style dash and I can't think of another way to install a headlamp flasher which is easy to operate. I am however open to suggestions or of course an offer of one of those switches at a more reasonable price!

Aye, noticed it was Barbara. Had a couple of bits recently off her, the packing is second to none. Wonder if she does Christmas presents for the misses?!
