I thank you for the kind words. And i thank everybody on this forum, without you a guy like me would never have come to this...
I am happy with the stance, i lowered the hydrolastic by removing some metal on the rod in the back and on the metal base in the front.
I am still after a period remote 5 speed gearbox, colotti or jkd so if you have one on the shef, pleeeaase contact me.

Finally some update. I found a proper gearbox for the car. A period 5 speed gearbox in a remote casing. I have been looking for a long time for a Colotti or a jkd but without success. A forum member close to my home suggested to ask a guy, which had a mystery box.
I have it in my hand and just passed a moment discovering the box. I still have no idea whi built it but it has some clever hacks! I would be happy if someone could help identifing the box.

Goodness me! Your build just gets better & better!

That gearbox has more than a little look of an early-ish Jack Knight about it. I am not certain, but that would certainly be my guess.

Your compliments touch me a lot. Thank you Mark. It makes me very proud. I take my time for the build and I am getting maniac about every detail. I am quite impatient about jearing this engine run but I enjoy the journey so much.
Jkd’ish??? Great.

Thank you Nick.
It’s not finished yet.
I can start building the engine and gearbox.
My wife will see me disappear in the garage every night...
