I had a Frogeye when I was18 so do love them but that has just had me in a complete fit of laughter
What the hell was the previous owner thinking of he must definitely have been on LSD

I quite like it!!!
its the old thing, people now forget what people did to 'classic' cars 30 years ago when they where cheap bangers - I always thing that cars like this should be kept to remind people that classic car are not all perfect shiney factory fresh cars with a narrow band of 'acceptable' mods
I like this bit the best...
Winning bidder must pay £300 deposit at the end of the auction so they cant change their mind later
that sums up quite a few cars ive bought in my life...

You would want to follow up the previous owner to find out what, apart from a Daimler Dart, was in his mind when he started this

I'll take the steering wheel. Save it from being used on that car.

Had a mate who had a mustard colour 105E estate. Folk think they're mega cute these days, but apart from my other mates' citrus lime Marina estate it was about the most uncool car you could own in the mid-80's. He snapped the 'An' off the tailgate badge and put a 'U' on with indelible marker. It was uber cool then !!
This car needs the same badge on the back

I saw that a couple of weeks ago at a local classic car auction in Norfolk. I think it made about £500.
It is worse than the pics show in the flesh, a truly awful car with very little 'Frogeye' worth salvaging. The person who 'created' this thing was clearly on class A drugs at the time.
It gave everyone a laugh though

That was my old anti roll bar that I picked up at the 35th Mini celebration for £100, then sold to Mick for about £120 I think, pleased he made a nice profit on it
I think it may be time to dust off my spare Speedwell Clubman head and twin carb setup and pop them on the Bay to help purchase a new daily car, maybe an nice Aston Martin Vantage

BONKERS!
One made out of a coat hanger will do as much good. Glad I already have a NOS one for the Speedwell car though
