That's possible too. It's quite possible they used something a little more exotic

Yes I would agree. The headlights in the first B&W photo look like Facel Vega unitsOld English White wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2023 9:43 pm Looks all wrong with those lights

The colour photos when the car is black use Austin 3 litre headlamps turned 90 degrees.

Re: Radford mini de ville colour cards found!!!
Despite claims by a certain infamous classic car dealer recently that Peter Sellers owned several Radfords (including the one they were trying to flog for a quarter of a million) and my theory that actually he didn’t own any at all this article pretty much speaks volumes about his plans for owning any more Minis in 1964, offloading his Hooper within a year of getting it due to the amount of time he was spending out of the U.K!

Re: Radford mini de ville colour cards found!!!
Just found this lurking in my hard drive, a LHD Italian registered Raddie which appears to have been through W&P's workshop too judging by the arches and the bodyside chrome trim in line with the door handle...

The registration does not look italian, more like a spanish reg. The text seems spanish too.
Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s

Macca's Radford S in the car park at Abbey Road in July or August '69, with Linda McCartney...
