I had that one on display in Manchester a few years ago pre resto, blue with its original vinyl interior in great condition. Originally Tweed Grey as many were, the body below the waste was surprisingly good but very rotten above due to being under a leaky roof for too many years.

I love the style of those 1960s Radfords 8-). Not sure about the colour scheme of that one though but it has had quite a make-over. It is yet another restored car with a "Heritage" bootlid isn't it? (One of my pet hates!) where the number plate recess is all wrong (curved instead of straight above the number plate) which makes it difficult to get the badges correctly positioned :? It may be a small detail but I think an important one in this price range.

Now that you've pointed out the bootlid it's very noticeable! Lovely colour combo in my view but I'm surprised it's not metallic.

Looks awfully like Russet Brown! I suspect they were aiming for an AA1000 Sand over Sable look but didn't perhaps understand that the 1960s Rolls Royce or Aston Martin colour charts were the place to look rather than British Leyland circa 1976....Not a great colour. I agree about the boot lid. But that map light fixed to the dashboard with ugly wood screws really takes the biscuit! And why has the centre console been painted the exterior colour rather than covered in vinyl?

There is certainly some incorrect detailing - and I'm not sure that the paint finish is actually all that good - but the general Radford style is still present. I do agree that they generally look even more special with a metallic paint finish. Still a desirable car.

Has no one else spotted the laser cut door step trims. Not the best thing to greet you when you open the door.

Yes - hadn't spotted they were lasercut: only that they were completeky wrong for the age of the car.

Haha. They are REALLY naff :x Don't even fit right. The only "fit" would have been the one suffered by Harold Radford himself if he'd spotted them.....

Out of passing interest only, is there a full, complete list of the Radford converted mini's and Coopers? Together with original colours and Radford spec? Where you you can refer to if you own one or are thinking of acquiring one

I only ask because the same doesn't seem to apply to the many Cooper converted mini's and Coopers. Others have found to their cost that with no definite paper trail, some of these Cooper conversions are best described as 'imaginative'.

Think they look more like Knighton seats.
Had a set of them probably 20years ago.
Brilliant seats and really comfortable only problem was they weighed a ton!
Couldn’t give them away then, bet they would sell well now.
