I think bare heads and blocks were always unpainted although I've also seen them with a thin sort of primer, so I could believe that is NOS. The question is though: How much work and cash have you got to throw at it before it could be any use now..... The story about it being a "works" block is just nonsense. I doubt it being NOS - I'm pretty sure they were painted - even when supplied as a part.

Yep, those are not a standard size for the Mini. 145/70 12 was the size used all through the 1980's and 1990's as standard fit. 165/60 12 were optional in the Cooper catalogues. Denovos were were 155/65 310.STG95F wrote:
