A nice early poster, but £317.00 !!!!!
I can now see where I went wrong. All those years working in the motor trade - rather than my employer paying a few quid into a badly run pension fund I should have just asked for a few posters out of the showroom and BMC boxes from the stores :?
Used to work with a guy years ago whose sister was married to an executive at an airplane manufacturer. He got hired by Boeing and moved out to Washington back in the mid-80s. Being a bored housewife she decided to get a secretarial job and told the company she was working for that she didn't need a salary so much, so they could pay her in stock options or some such alternative. THe company? Microsoft. She ended up a very rich woman!

Same seller appears to have a stack of those sound effect records. That's a pretty unique and fun little bit of ephemera. Mark, maybe you need to get them and add a new section the mk1-conversions site :)

Ha! That is great. But better than the interior of an 848cc?

Or a hard cornering Cooper Monaco Sports?

Oh no, we don't have a photo of a LHD mini. Let's just mirror the image and hope no one looks at the number plate...

£28k for a pretty standard Mk1? :o
Crazy money - particularly for a car with quite a few incorrect details and not a particularly early build.

It is Richard, considering I'd sell my somewhat superior '60 for half that price

Yes it is, although the number plate has been changed.. I'm thinking the jacket itself is old, the screen printing might be a recent addition

notwithstanding the fact that KEL236 is the 997 prototype, it wasn't green, mk1 cosmics hadn't been invented and was barely a cooper itself let alone portraying an S!!

For some reason the ebay listing numbers would not work for me as a search.

I dug around and these are links to the pages for anyone interested.
