Haha. The suckiest feeling of all (well, in a First World problem sort of way), being the second highest eBay bidder on something you really wanted.

I reckon that's the WORST feeling, & by God I have been there in the past.

I reckon that 1200 was a decent price on those Minilites, I doubt anyone will find a better set of original 60's ones for any less. I was outbid, but I'm not bothered because I wasn't desperate to own them, it would just have been nice to have had them for a while.

I hardly ever buy on ebay nowadays, firstly there is so much shite to sift through, then most stuff that is worth buying has a ridiculous starting price & thirdly the sniper software that I have used for years isn't reliable any more.

Its great! I find myself with money left over at the end of the month now :)

Why does this seller think his stuff is always worth many multiples of the going rate for even nice spares?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Contour-Mic ... Swr~lYqjAt

Microcell seats with a BIN of £3,500

They look OK, the plating looks good, but the stuffing looks horrible & distorted & he says he hasn't got side plates for them.

No wonder he's living in Monaco!!

Here here. I've bought off him before but a long while ago. I don't even bother looking at his parts these days.

I love this quote at the end of the listing;

The parts are in storage in France, dispatch in 2 wks as we are on holiday. STILL!

Bet he's on one permanent holiday at those prices..........

Mark, to be completely honest his adverts have never impressed me. He can keep his stuff and hope he enjoys looking at it each day for the rest of his life.

Time that car restorers see ebay as populated by crooks I'm afraid to say.
