A Raddie in the Kings Road - looks very much like the two tone brown and gold colour combo of the 'Adam Adamant Lives' Radford....

Quite a few parts on EBay of late being described as coming off an old Radford Cooper S, heated rear screen, right hand tank, Morris Cooper S badges, Benelite etc all good parts but they’re all actually off that ex Montague 997 Cooper project I sold last year.

And did the heated rear screen work?

It was a Triplex one and the car was a project so I never tried it out. My old Radford hatchback (which is now back with its 2nd original lady owner) should have had one but it was missing. Usual story of the hatch slamming shut and breaking during its lifetime .

Those heated rear screens are incredibly rare. I have one in my 65 Radford, lets hope the one on eBay made it to a Radford owner.

Very unusual to see a Radfords two tone painted at that level is normally a little higher so the scuttle it painted with the lower colour.

I've been hoping to find one for my 1965 Radford conversion so bought this one. What else would I do with that spare dash switch? Could be a few years before it's time to fit it so I'll wrap it up well!

I was wondering if anyone out there has any history on my '66 Cooper S Radford, NAN 983D, purchased by my friend in London in 1977 through the Exchange & Mart. It's been in the states since. Factory color Red, resprayed by Radford in a light aquamarine blue which does not appear to be any of those colour cards. I've since put it back to red.... Just wondering about its history prior to '77.

Did you find anything out about your car Nick? Unusual colour yes and im no expert at all but unusual for Radford to paint the interior. Looks like it originally had grey vinyl trim aswell which was quite unusual, I saw another ‘66 Radford Cooper with original vinyl trim which survived much better than the leather option!
