Re: 1275 GT thread
That is interesting on door rubbers as I've sometimes come across nos ones in different colours (usually brown...!).Presumably they were all black for 1969 /70 as that was the only choice of interior colour at the time for a 1275GT?
I'd often wondered where those "S" badges came from and what they were used for. Years and years ago I had a Shorrock supercharged Triumph Herald 1200 with one on the back!

First up are the door rubbers. In the '70's these were colour matched to the vinyl trim. You can see the colour coded door rubbers on this low mileage Clubman. . This applies to all Mk3 and Clubman models, but check the charts as some early GTs had black fitted. I have also seen colour coded rear opening quarter rubbers. These are just about impossible to find now, so if you have a set hang on to them.

The other item is the badge supplied with the ST 1275GT S pack. They used the badge from the 1800S, advising that it should be attached to the boot.

I had quite an early clubman J reg in Aqua
I dont remember it having a door car like the one in this pic or seat like that one
The best repairs go un-noticed
Re: 1275 GT thread
My cropped shot does make the seat and door cards look odd, here's the original. As you can see it has the welded type pleats on the seats, and the steering wheel is obscuring the pleats on the door cards

Re: 1275 GT thread
The photo is of an automatic rather than a GT - so no perforations in the seat vinyl and different door cards to a GT which may explain itsurfblue63 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 11:28 pm My cropped shot does make the seat and door cards look odd, here's the original. A couple of GT interiors from early 1970 (Bronze Yellow cars) and one from 1973 (Harvest Gold) showing the GT door cards. The 1973 may also have colour matched door rubbers? Also interesting that the vinyl on the windscreen pillars had been dropped by 1973.

The back seats of the 73 car which shows the vinyl perforation better and also, interestingly, that the vinyl covering of the rear companion bins had stopped by this point.

Quite like that (although pricey) - shame the carpet is not dark blue like the seats (and the air vent isn't chrome?). Must be one of the last Hydro cars.

I particularly liked
"On retrouve une patine incroyable et une odeur très caractéristique de la Mini."
in the description - we all know and love that characteristic Mini smell...!
Re: 1275 GT thread
This is the Kangol seat belt anchor normally seen on early GTs/Clubmans and Mk3s. I have seen them with dayglo orange buttons and grey buttons as well as the black seen here.
