Car looks nice, and sure has a cool looking "beefed up" interior

Thanks for the comments lads. I'm over the moon with this new project. I will set up a new tread when I start the restoration later in the year. I/we have to finish the one I've started first!!
. Have picked up some nice parts for it already. A pair of NOS headlight bezels and seals and Mr W&P (JC ) has some NOS wing indicators for me.

I stand to be corrected but I think they're Cibie Type 90 Iodine Quartz lamps , seen alot on Rover 2000's of the period.

Here's a pic of the Cibie Type 90 (I borrowed it from
http://flexotravel.free.fr/304.free.fr/ ... dition.htm )
They were fitted to Peugeot 203 and 304s as an extra and turn up on ebay quite often. I recently saw a pair sell for as little as £40. They often turn up as singles but most are pairs with one fog and one spot type lamp.
And here's one insitu on a Cooper Traveller

JC what book is the photo in?
Ted your right they are 1100/1300 front door handles. They were fitted to take the extra weight of the electric windows. Will post more photos of them when I start a resto tread. The jam for the door is heavily modified to get them to work. I have to say the W&P work behind the carpet, leather etc is to a higher standard than Radfords!!

I thought so! I used to have a 4 door 1300, I think I still have some handles and lock parts left over from it if you need any!

"Offered here is a 1987 example of the rare Wood & Pickett Park Lane Cabriolet, which is said to have covered just 23,000 miles from new and to have been originally sold to the American actor George Hamilton when new. George Hamilton has a huge body of work behind him, which includes The Godfather III and Love at First Bite.
Finished in black and gold with beige cloth interior, the car has the trademark nudge bars, front and rear, wood veneer dash and door cappings, uprated 1.0 engine and built in roll bar for additional rigidity. It is equipped with Minilite style alloy road wheels.
It is said to be in excellent condition throughout. The vendor is warranting the 23,000 miles as correct and offers the car with a new MoT."
Guide Price: £14000 to £16000
