Yep that's about it Carabus(Fred's), Ekland's and Graham's , cliff's then the std steel HB's, Ali HB and lastly the Fibreglass HB. Calling the first few prototypes might be the wrong wording, I suppose because of such a short run it's more of an evolution to make the design better in all areas and most likely in the end cheaper as demand slowed down.

The only real difference between your HB and the red one would be the seats as your are microcell based and these are Radfords own built seats which came in around Feb/march '66.

A big collection of coachbuilt cars in bulee would be mega. But the organizers will only give Steve space for 3 cars were as the Works car get a full line every year! I would love to see a full line of coachbuilt minis facing the Works cars on the other side of the gravel road and I feel it could be done if we were aloud to organize it.

Why don't we organize the big collection of Radford coachbuilt in front of Chambord or an other "château de la Loire" ?
It's where I come from and I know I can plan this event :D

Now there is a challenge for you Nev (and Steve) and sounds like a plan with plenty of time! If Roger Hunt could get so many RSP's to Beauieu this year perhaps we should assemble a collection and display to rival the ex works boys & girls. Maybe international owners as well?
I thought you were giving up after this year Tony ;)

Don't know how much of the history of your Radford you were able to uncover, but I remember it being in Maryland USA during the 1980s. The Green with centered Gold stripe Radford was frequently at Mountjoys Autoshop in Hyattsville MD(suburban Washington DC). I spoke to the then owner a few times, but I have no contact info.

Meb you have a great memory, here is a pic of one of the receipts of the work done by Mountjoy's Autoshop. You didn't take any photos by any chance?

I have no photos of the car, but I’m working on a lead. I know someone who worked at Mountjoys at the time and he painted his Mini in the same Green and Gold scheme. He may have taken a photo of the Radford when it was in the shop.

Hello everyone,

After a long time, Here is a very incredible information about my 1966 HB Radford concerning the ownership.
According reliable source, the first owner of my Radford was Prince Amyn Aga Khan, brother of Prince Karim Aga Khan, current Aga Khan IV.

I am looking for old pictures of the car of this time.
Please let me know if someone has some, it would be a very great news !
