First panel arrived today, a NOS early 80's Austin Rover boot floor/seat pan panel

Great car Andrew, enjoy the process of it being remade, re-furbed and reborn.

Following the car's appearance in the Mk1 S register section of this months MCR Mag, a friend rang me to say that someone he knows is pretty sure he remembers the car being used on local road events around Norwich in the late sixties.

Better still, he thinks he has some photographs of it in action and is going to have a look for them

The application to recover the registration number is soon to be sent to the DVLA

Looks like a fun project. All it takes is money and time, oh and the occasional pound of flesh. Good luck with it. I'm looking forward to some good picture posts.

Your 64 Rust project has been quite an inspiration into believing that this shell is saveable.

Time will tell though once its stripped and braced up.

Congrats on your purchase,I also own an Austin 65 S Surf Blue/ OEW roof American export in excellent condition but unfortunately resprayed Red with Black roof.Considering respray back to original colours. Good luck!
