I have just had an email from Julian at Blockley Tyres. He says

"Thanks for the email. The 145x10 size is in hand and at the mould making stage, so something will happen in 2017!"

Sounds Great news to me.

I spoke to him at the NEC a few weeks ago and he said he would have some made later in the year. By all accounts the moulds are just finished.

Phoned them today as I will be in the market for some new tyres soon. They said they are working on them but are unlikely to be ready for another year or so.....

I have just had to buy a set of 5 Dunlop 145/10 Aquajets.

I don't like them but they are the only recognised option available.

Does anyone have an update about the date a Blockley 145/10 might be available? I'd take a set of five today if they were on sale.

I have a track day in a few weeks and can't really use the 1980s G800s any more. I may have to go with new Dunlop Aquajet items - but costly!

Thanks.
Cheers,

And the price will be £80-£90 each judging by the prices for other tyres in the range.

Don't Blockley already offer something in that size?
