Mark i think it was £10 + endorsement but not sure, I got few in the 60s + a couple in the early 70s, then things quietened down , maybe they all got promotion or stationed else where
This is showing a previous one while out on my motorbike with my cousin on the back and me being a provisional license holder, They made a big issue out of that, There was a squad car at Mam and Dads house when i got home , You would have thought i had committed a MURDER , My dear old Dad had to attend court , that cost me and Dad a days wage each, Always getting pulled in our village , It became feud , I got some even better ones to tell another time

No super bikes in them days Rich , Nor mirrors , He was on a bike ( Noddy Bike ) as we called them, we were just arriving in the village when he pulled along side , Pull over , I was only 16 ,not street wise, but i soon was, Don't forget life was a lot simpler in the 60s

Things are moving forward as regards getting a booking page open, still not quite there yet on the detail. I'm trying to get a discount for those wishing to book a second day on track to entice people to book two track days as opposed to one. We will have 60 spaces per day but I have a sneaking suspicion that it'll still book up pretty quick. Also work continues in the background as regards special guests, inviting special cars, camping space, evening entertainment and food ,our chosen charity and expanding the trade section slightly. We don't want to develop the event in size , and can't anyway due to space restrictions but we will have a lot going on and consequently marshalling will be an important factor next year. If anyone fancies helping out in this respect we'll cover your food and drink and probably work a two shift system, me and Mark are bound to be doing our bit but as last year we will need plenty of help.

No discount for 2nd day I'm afraid. It'll be £119 per day then.

Thanks for trying Pete. Me and my brother can't wait. Let's hope we get tickets, want be in the Innocenti Cooper as its moved on. So will have a period modified mk1.

Still amazing value for money without a discount. Nice try anyway.

Considering the amount of track time available on each day, Mark and I agree and on that basis we're accepting this pricing structure. A little more to do before a booking page is opened though I'm afraid. What we'll do is announce the date when booking opens at least a week before it does and in that way hopefully nobody misses out. We're also going to have a dedicated webpage with all the information on, maybe a Facebook page but I'm reluctant to do that personally as I don't think we need it.

No Faceache. Like Ebay it will suggest the site to all sorts and Blyton will be over run with 13" wheel blinged up candy painted rot boxes.

Like last year I will sort a dedicated page or two on the main MK1 site that will give all the salient information.

As Pete has already said, we are just waiting for final confirmation at the mo. As soon as everything is firmed up we will go public with a few days notice re booking.
