try spending 10 min looking at this car and spotting all the errors - its migraine inducing.

I really, really like this car as I usually struggle to spot all the things that are wrong & feel a bit guilty that I don't ever notice all the details that other people on here do.

However in this particular case, even I can spot some of the glaring faults.

I may be speaking out of turn here, but I do suspect that this car just MAY be an early 62 / 63 car that has had a handfull of S tyupe bits screwed to it

Seems the seller has finally worked out no one will 10,500 or even 5,500 for these bits of a Unipower...

I think you're 100% right.

It's unfortunate that it doesn't include the words "replica" or "recreation" in the listing title because the seller is honest in the description that it is a standard shell with Cooper/S parts built into it. He specifically states that it's on a standard Mini V5.

On the other hand he over-eggs the accuracy of the replication as the rivet-counters on here have already observed.

However, as a car it's probably a solid, driveable example that someone could make into a pretty good replica without too much effort, and somebody less scrupulous could unite with an orphan Cooper S V5 and make a lot of money. :o
