Yes a very nice original S 65 in the US. I would have bid $20k, but it's now at $30k - so the market remains strong.

Sold for $57K cad....I had thought $50K....so was very close :)

Maybe Gray's right. There is only the front half visible so perhaps that's all he's got? Maybe we could arrange a marriage?

Yes, he bought my '69 Mk2 Cooper when I put it on ebay, two days later he'd doubled his money on it. Oh well, ce la vie!

He doesn't always make money Nidge.

A few months ago, he bought my workmates Mk2 998 'Cooper' for just over £4K and couldn't get more than £3K for it on eBay ;)

Yeah, he does normally though

Yep, but I seem to remember there was some discussion on how certain cars were described, (like that's never happened before) when they obviously weren't what was being sold.

Swings and roundabout I suppose Andrew! I seem to recall when he bought UWD 672G from me it went to Northern Ireland, along with some other cars he'd bought. I'd put it into storage down at Southam and he sent an old boy with a flatbed to pick it up from there, I felt a twinge of sadness watching it leave Rod Taylor's yard that day.

Pete that looks like the work of someone as in the Harry Potter sense of 'whose name shall not be mentioned' but begins with a G! all that detail gloves etc for the Japanese market! I may be wrong and apologies if it is someone genuine
