Okey, what is the deal with spain/portugal and rare magnesium and alloy wheels... seems like someone from there is selling a set of rare Cosmics or Speedweels each month!

I don't believe half the crap on Shillbay anymore, it's so obvious when sellers are bidding their own items up (quite a few clues, the biggest being the "private listing", bidders with lots of bid history with that seller, lots regular bids put on very early in the auction etc etc) and half the time I'm pretty sure they end up keeping the items or relist them. Shillers can actually cancel their own transactions post auction with their 'alter ego's without penalty/cost.
I doubt Shillbay are that concerned about it because obviously the higher the prices made by sellers the more wonga they make themselves.

Just sent a question to the seller asking if i could come over and have a look this was is reply
Thank you for your interest. I'm 400 miles away from home with work problems and will get back home only after payment is confirmed to eBay, then I will get a plane ticket ASAP to arrange collection. My asking price is £6,100.00 for a quick sale. Payment must be done only through eBay. The car is in perfect condition, the bodywork is immaculate,no scratches, dents or hidden defects as well as the interior in excellent non-smoking condition , never been implied in any accident.
Total scam

Yep, scam. The person who seems to be the actual owner listed it for 23,000 a week ago.

You can often take the picture they've used in these scam ads and drop it into a Google image search to find the original ad they ripped off.
It needs to be reported to ebay.

Sent a second message to the seller saying , So you want me to pay for the car befour I can see it and this was is reply .
I have contacted eBay regarding the distance issue and they have explained me that the transaction can be done through eBay Buyer Protection. The payment will be sent to eBay billing department then you'll collect the car or i can deliver it to your address using a local delivery company and also get 10 days inspection period so you can drive test and also check at any SERVICE. During these 10 days you are full refunded in case you will reject the car. If the car will be accepted the eBay will pay me and the transaction is successfully closed.
