The Beatles' Abbey Road returns to number one after more than 49 years
"The Beatles' Abbey Road has returned to number one, 50 years after it first topped the album charts. The Fab Four reclaimed the top spot with an expanded anniversary edition. The feat also sees the album set a record - the gap of 49 years and 252 days since its initial chart-topping run ended in early 1970 is the longest gap before returning to number one. The new version features original tracks such as Here Comes The Sun and Come Together as well as previously unheard material from the recording sessions."

Here's a recently acquired door with a Radford wind up window conversion. This was originally fitted to a Riley Elf from new in 1965. I don't remember seeing a non-electric window door before. It's still very heavy and as only the driver's side was altered, I expect the poor Elf would have struggled to sit straight!

There is a four digit number written in pencil on the inside of the fibreglass moulding. Very hard to read but could be 6690.

Some fantastic items there from Alan Herring who's the guy that released the '69 colour photos of the Beatles with their Minis at Harrison's place a few years ago. Ringo was pictured with a white Mk2 a few times. The Lennon specs and the demo tape are gonna go for huuuuge money.

There is a few Radfords with wind up windows they were even used in some mk2 conversions. If the Radford job number is correct it would date to first 1/4 of 1965 and that all ties in with the style of the internal door panel and handles etc. I have a 1963 Radford Hornet, nice to know they convert another mutant!

This one I presume Pete, pictured in 1970 I think...?

When you say the '69 colour photos do you mean the ones taken at Esher in '68 during the White Album demo tape session at George's place, with Ringo signing an autograph whilst sat in his Hooper...? Or some new ones we haven't seen...? (!!!). ;)
