1960's stuff now tailing off, this is proved by race entries................

1970's and 80's on the climb...........

Simple answer, people born in the 60's ( like me) remember the 1275 GT Championship and Clubmans running in the RAC rally.

Sign of the times I'm afraid 😳

Inclined to agree. Look at 70’s and 80’s stuff. All on the rise. Metros, Ford XR/RS and Japanese stuff. You’re all getting old. (Obvs I’m not 🤣)

How much more do you pay for a one owner ? What is the premium ? And we all know they are only original once but does it make my early multi owner GT worth more ? Not bothered really just thought it was an interesting question.

Cheers Gray.

Classic Mini that was hidden away in a dusty garage for 33 years sells at auction for an 'astonishing' £39,100 - almost FOUR TIMES its estimate:-

Add £10K's worth of reconditioning and that makes an expensive car.

I know of a freshly restored August 1970 GT on sale for just over half that.

The owner is ust waiting for the warmer weather.

A very expensive car i suppose the question is sympathetic recondition or full strip and paint
which one would make it more desirable car

And more importantly if bought for resale would a spit and polish or more in-depth resto add much value to £38000

A full restore would surely lower the value ? considering you can buy early restored ones for less than was paid
