the body work on this example looks perfect for it!
I'm sure someone will spoil it by actually doing it up properly - boooooo[/quote]
Fully agree! Should be built as a replica of yours
Would be interesting to see how big a crowd a tidied up 70's custom S' would get at shows.
Probably be more pic's taken of it than factory spec S's

Given the state of the rest of it and the amount of debris around it, the sticking plaster on the roof looks remarkably good.

Hmm, that is a lot of rubbish for the money.
This however looks a far more honest jalopy:

I'd fix the bog and lacquer it. It looks really different as it is and you can see what you are getting as well.
I like the GT rally car as well.

"The heritage certificate records the following (under other information) "Paint and trim by Fisher and Ludlow" i have never seen that on a heritage certificate for a mini before but i assume it had special order paint and trim when new ?"smithyrc30 wrote:Hmm, that is a lot of rubbish for the money.

I've seen 'paint and trim by Fisher Ludlow' on a few Minis of that period. How many Ebay IDs has that seller got?

If the cross cut box is fitted, WTH is the 'custom built 4 speed uprated radial gearbox' that's never been used
