In the book "Cooper Cars" by Doug Nye. It had this photo in, which I think is the same building shown at the back of your photo. The caption reads "The 500 Club at Hollyfield Road 13 December 1947, when their AGM was held at the Surbiton Assembly Rooms. Charles Cooper on the right whose dealer franchises are sign-written on the workshop gable." This whole site at 243 Hollyfield Road, where they relocated to in 1934 was rebuilt in 1954 to become the later Cooper factory, and is pretty much as it remains. The two racing cars shown in this photo would date it to around 1952/3, just before rebuilding.
