Dave, agreed, autocross and rallycross was fantastic fun in the sixties and seventies. What happened rallycross over here was the arrival of the MG Metro 6R4. I still can remember well Ronnie White saying that 4-wheel drive will destroy the sport and ruin it for the clubman racer and he was proved right. I remember back then every event had always over hundred entries and now twenty-five would be a full entry

After a quick search on Google Earth I found Corso Guglielmo Marconi in Genoa. Still looks the same, well nearly.

Do you mean the car you know of 15 years ago may be the Monte car? - the Freeborough car certainly wasn't. See history previously referred to.
