I've always wanted a classic sports car - an Austin Healey 100 would be favorite but I can't afford oneUHR850 wrote: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/berkeley-t60- ... Sw3mpXI8Ql
Now, if I bought THAT instead and nicked the engine out of my neighbours old ride-on lawn mower, would I have the next best thing?

Yes....doesn't look like the highest degree of finish either.
I do love the Clubman rear bumpers though....been looking for a couple of them for my 89 Jap spec car.

Quite a nice mk1 here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Austin-mini-s ... SwLs5XK0PL
Couple of early mk 3's:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-mini- ... Sw2x1XK9nr
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-1000-cla ... Sw1DtXFeyc
Advertised as a mk2 S....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1969-AUSTIN-M ... SwF0NXL3iN
However I don't recall Mk2's having riveted boot board brackets.......
Mk 2 Coopers are getting up there:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1969-Morris-M ... SwspxW6wvQ
As are mk 1's

The one above doesn't look very MK2 S (or Cooper for that matter), another case of doing research before parting with big sums of money

One set of the original A series rockers.
Collapsible aluminum pillars, worn pads (gone through the chill hardening) with the hammer break off tips.
Even BMC thought they were crap and replaced them with the pressed steel arms.

Still cannot understand why people try and charge so much for them....

What you are actually looking at is an "Experimental set of highly sought after, Competitions Department Developed, Ultra Light weight Competition Rocker Gear". (Show some signs of use)
Anything give you the idea I have just been composing some ebay ads

I checked to see what else he's selling. I love that it's all engine parts basically and then randomly, a dish washer. Rare Works tuned dishwasher, I believe.smithyrc30 wrote:One set of the original A series rockers.
