I think that is the same GT as the one stood outside on Somerford Mini's previous premises for many years. I have taken a picture in 2002 and 2009 (iirc) and it was just as bad then....

not sure about the chequered stripe over the bonnet and other misc details like its price....
has this had a clubman front fitted for the 8 port or what's the story?
I'm noticing the RH cancel wipers too.

Totally agree Pete, this was the last competitive Mini in the early seventies that I seen in action. Back then as you say it had the Clubman front. From my memory it was as competitive as any of the works cars. I know a gentleman who loves that car so don’t be surprised if it heads across the Irish Sea
