I think that is the same GT as the one stood outside on Somerford Mini's previous premises for many years. I have taken a picture in 2002 and 2009 (iirc) and it was just as bad then.... :?

not sure about the chequered stripe over the bonnet and other misc details like its price.... 8-)

has this had a clubman front fitted for the 8 port or what's the story?

Totally agree Pete, this was the last competitive Mini in the early seventies that I seen in action. Back then as you say it had the Clubman front. From my memory it was as competitive as any of the works cars. I know a gentleman who loves that car so don’t be surprised if it heads across the Irish Sea :D :D
