I was pretty amazed to see a similar jack (but without the box) sell for £187 on ebay a week or two ago. ARE they that rare?? I know I have a couple of pare wheelbrace/hubcap removers but I'm going to look for a jack in a minute

I'd think the box was the main attraction!

Based on what I paid for the jack and brace without the box that box is valued at about £233, blimey it should be on Antique Road Show.

Another small point about the Minivan. I noticed the early heater in the interior pic, which seems correct for a 1962 BUT in the underbonnet shot you can see the blank for the fresh air intake of the later type heater. Surely a 1962 bodyshell wouldn't have this? I'm not suggesting that it isn't a nice van but for £20,000 I'd want the correct body I think?

To some people the original shell IS the car , there seem to be just as many wonky vans as mk1 Ss' .I remember being impressed at the sight of an early registered AA van at a show once and then feeling deflated when I got closer and realised it wasn't at all!

Bmcman, I also looked at that car in 2011 when it was up for sale. The funny thing I found was that the seller wanted more for the car when viewed than what he had it advertised for which I thought was odd
It has doubled in price now
