1971 Mini Cooper S 1275cc Wood & Pickett.
Owner on TMF is trying to find out more about the car and work out what a reasonable sale price would be.

In response to Pete and Telllurus (above) They didn't make many of them. Thank heavens for that I say. I can just imagine the metallurgical nightmare under the vinyl roof and flattened side seams. Just me of course

I disagree Peter and have always liked the Wood & Pickett rear de-seam and vinyl roof, it really suited the Minis rear body shape and is now a very distinctive 1970's W&P coachbuilt modification. Too many Minis are now reverted to the 'original factory spec' so always nice to see a row of coachbuilt Minis from several decades to suit all tastes at the annual Beaulieu Mini show. I think W&P de-seaming was usually higher quality work using traditional lead loading rather than filler used by some, so is unlikely to be a metallurgical nightmare!
Sporting Minis
Wood & Pickett Mk3 Cooper S in Cyprus! W&P converted very few of these, concentrating their efforts very much on the new 1275 GT at the time which they modified in large numbers for those wanting a little piece of 70s luxury:-

I'm glad this car is getting interest, I think it's beautiful! I normally don't like red on Minis but I think it suits it, the red and black
From the pictures, do the original parts look preserved?
