I hear Mr Bosdet is busy at a small family do... have a good one

did you get sorted with hotel i e-mailed you david ? i believe we are not going into caerwent this year, really like it in there but the 998 is just not quick enough to keep up with everything else on those long straights, i here the new base for the most of the tests could be very interesting, rumour has it a huge new unfinished housing estate !!  ,

well, what a day ! hard rally navigation wise, very busy with loads of speed changes on the regularities, tests wer ok but not to the usual standard of this event, however, an old steel works provided the meat of the tests, very very very quick but with constantly changing surfaces, brilliant fun! we finished 2nd o/a after leading by 21 sec by test 11, with 3 tests to go and a very long and quick jogularity we ended up reeled in and 23 sec away from the 2.0L escort of matt warren [champ leader] and in 3rd by nearly 2 mins, the 911 porche of matts father ,howard, well happy to split last years champion and this years leader with a 998 mini   , really strong points for the championship, just what was needed. my nav forthe day was mark appleton, a full time rally organiser , brilliant map and tables man, and really got me going on the tests  , next round the hughes rally in kent with my nav, ali proctor, from the yorkshire rally and the tour of cheshire earlier in the season , lets see if we can win one :o :o

wnx on here was out and having a ball, where did you end up mate ??

Top result, but no less than you deserve with the effort your putting in.

Just hope you can reel in that damned Escort over the remaining rounds

back from this weekends round, the hughes rally in kent, 350 miles to the start from home, well worth it another second overall by just 9sec from a 911 of championship contender andrew mallagh, the series leader and main rival matt warren in the mexico retired on the last special test with a blown diff, so that has helped me no end, he is a mate though, and i did feel sorry for him, an 8 port 1275 gt was 3rd, quick quick car and sounded incredible, next round is the end of the month, the east anglian classic, doing that with a top driver and navigator, matt fowle, so annoying when they are top drawer at both sides of the car  , it is ironic that matt was spectating at weekend on a flat in 2nd left where we had the biggest moment ever :o , he did text to say well held :P , and hasnt put him off :D

Great result, particularly in a 998 cooper, keep thinking that i should get our 998 fettled and give rallying a go again!
