My 2nd June 69 built MK2 S which I have owned since 1983 has a black taped front loom & braided rear loom, also believed to be the original looms.

Yes, indeed. £1K per finnished minute is the bottom of the TV documentary budget scale. I've worked on productions, for example Hells Kitchen, where there was so much money sloshing around they didn't know what to do with it. Not that much of that came in my direction though, I'm just a freelance engineering techie with a love for old minis.
