Although the accident was said to be at low speed, I think any car with 3 wheels is basically unstable and some drivers are going to get into trouble at some point....

"Flintoff was driving a three-wheeled Morgan Super 3, at the Dunsfold test track, and is said to have had a crew member aboard the car at the time. A crew member who did not wish to be named has told Hagerty that it was a “low-speed, freak accident. We weren’t even filming at the time.”
The only detail that has been reported so far is that in cold weather conditions, the Morgan Super 3 flipped over, but the BBC has not shared further details, raising the question of whether it flipped on the track or left the road and rolled in the surrounding grassland, and why it rolled. A health and safety review is taking place, says the BBC."

Morgan Super 3 review: Puts the fun back into every drive
A Ford-sourced 1.5-litre three cylinder motor provides 115bhp and 110lb ft, and given that the car weighs 675kgs that’s plenty. Morgan says 0-62mph takes 7.0 seconds (pending final certification), and it’ll cruise up to 130mph.

The big problem is that a car show with proper journalists/presenters accidentally turned into a car show with some mucking about (the US budget car special was the turning point).
That then morphed into a show with cars and lots of mucking about.
After JC went nuts and the presenters left, it got lost. Evans was totally the wrong host, and should have stuck to TFI Friday.

The current line up is just peurile.
One of the presenters has no business on a car show, and just dicks about making crude comments in an attempt at being funny. How often was the bleep needed unless they were having an accident ?
Flintoff had no business being a presenter, but actually stole the show.

I'm sad if it gets cancelled becuse of injury, but it should have been culled years ago.

Sadly I think it’s probably had its day. I tune in when it’s in because for the most part it’s entertaining, but it’s like watching your favourite band with none of the original members.

I watched several episodes of Grand Tour where they did the big adventures and it was the real deal.

Agree with many of the comments about the BBC, it probably is on the right track when both extreme left and right complain about it. I don’t care, I just want quality entertainment and I don’t mind the licence fee.

The secrecy around the Flintoff accident is curious, I wonder if there’s some legal implications??

Anyone who’s watched the Late Brake Show episode with Monkey won’t be any doubt what he thinks about Evans! 😬

What... shiny brand new 3-wheeler overturns during innocuous low speed manouvre... injures occupants... surely no cover up or legal implications there...

The Idol Chat with Harris was great. I really liked seeing how much he loves his cars, yet also doesn't mind if his dog chews up the inside "because that's what a dog will do". Not too prissy about things, loves his cars, loves his dog more. He must have an incredible number of sheds though if he loses track of what he's got in them
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

I regularly listen to the " Collecting Cars Podcast with Chris Harris "
He rarely, in fact close to never, talks about Top Gear, but in the latest episode on the 7th April 2023 he did mention in passing that he would be having a lot more free time on his hands than usual, which I think was a hint that it might be all over - but I could be reading that wrong
