Truly amazing - thats a fantastic piece of history, just reading through the paperwork would keep me interested for weeks and weeks.

I had engine number XSP 3139/2 in what started life as a 997 Cooper that had belonged to someone who worked in the experimental department.

I never had it apart but it seemed to be S bits with a thin flange solid wall block and was sat on a 333 gearbox casing.
