Now the hinges have been reconditioned, time to try on the panels.
All fitting pretty well really.

Extra protection applied to the battery box and valances,
bit of seam sealer here and there and then ready for a bit more colour.

Many years a go I had a '61 which was, sadly, stolen and rolled so it's a thrill for me to see yours being restored to better than new !
Very well done and looking forward to seeing further progress.

The seat frames have been painted and hiding in the corner waiting for the Spanish Red vinyl to arrive from Newtonβs, so I though I ought to reassemble them.
The rollers and pins were all manky so i cleaned them up and dropped them into my local platers just to sling them in a vat with whatever was easiest in order to protect them.
And they come back like this!!!!! Wow!!! Itβs a shame they will he hiding under a seat!

Mechanism reassembled and the new bits from Newtonβs loaded up to be dropped over to the trimmer. He is a busy bee, so could be a couple of weeks before I see the end results!
