Really depends on how much (and how) you use the car …

In the 16 years I’ve had 9748KO on the road and some 8000 miles I’ve not had to adjust or replace any of the Lockheed ball joints.

I think that most people on this forum are quite capable of doing the job and setting them up themselves. Or probably have a mini owning mate that will help. As such, they've got the job down to a fine art. So, like Andy I'll just stick with the old Lockheeds.......

Not saying I wouldn't as well Peter (especially with your mods), being a tight arse Yorkshire man, but if you don't do your own work which going by the number of mini garages must be quite a few people, it could be more cost effective. Shame they didn't come out 30 years ago when we used the cars properly, would have saved a lot of hassel the night before the MOT, one less job to do after welding the patch on the sills :lol:
