I prefer outer as it is easier for faster cars to pass on than the inner.

Eastern would be my choice - think we did it on AD2 - there are still straights for safe overtaking - the 'Inner' circuit having just looked it up on the Blyton site increases the fast straight even more and more suited for single seater than mini's - Eastern is fun for a mini

Got to be the Outer circuit, it gives you chance to use all the performance of the car
Eastern is a bit Micky Mouse, maybe alright if it was a two day event

Inner gets my vote. The outer has become very same old same old. Bored with it. The only interesting part are the Esses coming back towards the pits. The rest it just full throttle and chicanes. You still get the esses on the inner plus very technical twisty stuff too.

I've been every time, and only done the outer.....and really enjoyed it.....just enough to stretch a quick mini. For me the inner would be a change......and, although I've said it before...… Paul's GRX 309D will be on track this time, and I'm promised a drive :D ...…...

Overnight camping is encouraged as we have a great Q&A on the Saturday night plus early evening meal, loads of room to camp, pay on arrival. Decent wash and shower facilities. There's lots of people turn up to show us their cars on the day so it's not all track action but you also have 50 track cars to look at and the owners are always happy to talk about their cars. Jeroen will be hosting his Maximum Mini display, always a hive of activity plus there's a trade area selling some great rare parts, track parade at the lunch halt, special guests, awards for our favourite cars. You'll have busy day even if you're not on track!

I think it'd be good to switch to the inner circuit for nice change.?

The Inner would be a good change.

I liked the Eastern but you could get stuck behind slower cars. The Inner has more chances to overtake in the bendy section than the Eastern.

Inner circuit with a split over the rough stuff for the rally cars would be a great change

Here's a question for Mark (and Pete):

Above, the booking line is listed as coming live on December 3rd, but I've just noticed that on Sporting Minis it says December 1st. Which is correct?

Oh, I enjoyed the Outer Circuit last year and would be happy with that again, but the Inner Circuit looks really good too.

Malcolm.

The date that I have been given by Javelin is the 3rd. I passed the details on to Pete, so it looks like something was lost in translation.

At the moment, it looks like we will be using the inner circuit this year.

Possible to do outer in the morning and inner in the afternoon, or vice versa?

No chance at all I'm afraid. It takes quite a while & a bit of effort to change the circuit layout & Blyton are not prepared to do it 1/2 way through a day.

Just to clarify.

The circuit we are currently proposing to use this year is the "Eastern Circuit" pictured below.

It incorporates some of the best bits of the Outer circuit that we have used before, but has a few different more technical challenges too.

Yep that's the one Mark, possibly the best layout they have and the Port Vite section is pretty darn quick!
