Does anyone know the difference in length between the early 88G233 'smoking pipe' and the later 88G553 one used for the conversion. I have come across one in a box of bits, it also has a nylon bush in the pipe bit which I can't find in the parts list on the Somerford website.

AndyB72 ..Q did you ever find the answer between the two differing smoking pipe gear selection shafts 88G233 and the later 88G553 ? me also hoping to carry out this conversion.this conversion.
