Subframes are in my shed and in primer. POR15 at the ready for the weekend

If i can find a couple of grand we might be in paint and in rebuild phase this spring.

Dont I know it.

We want this to be weatherproof and fit for regular road use. She is not a show car. So a good modern underseal has gone on too

Brilliant I personally like it when cars are used every day it's a shame for them to sit they should be enjoyed my mk1 shed was a everyday car until someone hit it,excellent well done

I need to clean up and paint etc all the various subframe/suspension/brake parts. So the drums and control arms etc are sitting in citric acid. Amazing stuff.

Then the 50 years of crud on the hydro displacers needed to go. Little things like this are super satisfying

It's not finished...yet.

But 7 years later. And having had ALL and i mean ALL of the work pictured above redone from scratch, (i'll share the evil work in pics)we are just there.

Need to resize some files before sharing

Interior panels and carpet this week, and June should see her back
