I've wanted a solid metal gearstick for a while. Not because I want a cooper one, but because I prefer the feel.
Now....what were Minor/Midget/A35 ones again?
I'm not interested whether it's a 22G380B-1966 I just want a solid stick. £200+ though, that's f cking insane.

I have used both & can confirm that the early sticks as illustrated above rattle like an absolute bastard, I got so sick of mine I swapped it for the later type. No idea what I did with the stick itself.

buy a magic wand one, heat it up and bend it straight, then cut it to the right length and rethread the end
easy, peasy
and CHEAP

I'm not really worried about the stick rattling. Everything else is making a much louder row!

A Minor front suspension bush shoved over the bottom section will completely cure any rattle. Early quikshifts need a judiciously selected length of heater hose as they're too long for the standard bush solution....
Must go and search the garage. Solid remote levers were standard fit to all Oz Minis for about 5 or 6 years.
Cheers, Ian

he started the bidding on those at about 40 quid months ago, they have been walking down to scrap price ever since
you couldn't even use them to make a reel for a hose pipe!

I've got the snapped off tail end of a 480 crank somewhere which I'd donate for a trophy.
