Speedwell were very prone to being a little "imaginative" regarding engine specs when cars were being demonstrated for the magazines

If you can find a dealer in 2015 selling a decent Mk1 S for £25K, for one you'd be very lucky and second, he'd be a pretty useless/skint dealer!

Some lovely finds there. Pete was suggesting that it would be nigh on impossible to find a Mk1 S under £25k nowadays.
It still looks a very reasonably priced Mk2 Cooper though.
