Obviously a bodyshop and possibly a BMC one. You can just see a clipper blue early Mini Minor behind the tweed (?) grey Mark 1 Minivan.

You're right about that advertising picture with the lady and the light blue mini Martin. BMC had some superb advertising blurb for minis, right through to the end of production. But dear o' deary me, they were let down badly by the sales management teams.


That said, the good guys in the advertising dept were let down right to the end by the shoddy work practices and out-inspection department at the factories.

Added a bit later........ I must admit to having used some of these old BMC advertising pictures as my screen saver. In fact, I noticed several of them featuring Mini's and MG's turned into post cards for sale in a shop in Marlborough last week - including a nice red Rover Cooper Sport
