It did come off GRX 195D but it is the owner before Gerry who is selling it.
So much for originality
If you sold a car reputed to be super original for £72,500 you would have expected him to put items he had removed (why
) in a box to go with the car! When I saw the car I actually told Gerry that in my opinion 48F was a better car
My opinion.

I cant believe someone has spent actual time building this! If you are going to all that time/effort just do something normal.
Could he have made it any uglier!

Bare metal it and add some side pipes and you could rent it out to be in the next Mad Max film.

Think the only items from a Mini Cooper on that is the speedometer and incorrect mk1 badges, can't see anyone buying it

Vendor states = "speedo not working" = I think that would be on the bottom of my "things to worry about" list .

Here in Northern Ireland I have bought cars from this company and can say Simon is a genuine bloke. GS, you are wrong this car is not expensive and is very special being so original. If this helps a friend has viewed the car and views it as 99% original. Trust me £22k would not buy it if that helps you.

I like the little chrome yankers that fit to the front window catches. A neat little idea

What did he say wasn't original?

GS, when I say 99% original, he thinks it is just that. The wing mirrors are the main problem according to my friend drilled too far forward. Hell i wish that was my problem to sort. Buy it a nice car. Firstly remember Cooper 997 cars are more rare than Cooper S Type cars so be in front of the gang trust me

Showing what a sad spotter I am, I noticed that two of the Mk2 automatics currently on ebay have the same series of registration numbers....
SAE 140G (item number 281776957046) and SAE 830G (item number 231659142488) - both Austins - must have been supplied by the same dealer in 1969...

Why have they not included engine bay photo's ?. Hate those mirrors BTW.

Yes the current dealer has clearly changed those to make it look more sporty - they were standard Tex or Desmo ones when the car was originally sold last year - See photos in this listing. The mirrors must be
very expensive (approximately £5000 each!) judging by the price of the car last year as compared to it asking price a year later....
