Is this what it purports to be? (Not casting doubt, I've really no idea but there's no reserve)

It looks OK to me - although it is missing the mounting brackets. Never seen a chrome pipe for one before.

as well as the separate mounting brackets ,the extended aluminium tabs have fractured off ,it will need the metal sides removing and new tabs Tig welding to it .I didn't know about this when I bought mine ,till it was pointed out to me,
I think it will still make £250+ regardless

what a load of crap, its got a rod change floor in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whats the betting that the chassis number is for a mk2 traveller.........
It seems a bit funny! Australia didn't make Traveller/Estate bodies, only vans. They never had internal door hinges or one piece wind up windows either, and were never sold as Austins.. Unless it is a genuine Propotype (sic)

Couple of nice seats here....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-Micr ... 7675.l2557

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-BTCC ... 7675.l2557

Both sold pretty quick as they're reasonably priced! Saying that, a Microcell Contour 7 sold on Ebay at weekend for a sniff over £100! (and yes I missed it as usual  )

Pete,
It's one of the very same 'Contour 7' seats ,that the previous owner (Christianbigbear 2278)also had for sale, the other had no base cushion!!!

I had a really good look at it ,as I bought the 'Karobes' recliner (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-CLASS ... true&rt=nc)
Cheers Gareth

Rich,

100% agree total bullshite listing. I have no problem with ID change if it is age correct. Ebay do not give a toss

The MK1 one is an exact copy of the original Speedwell Pod. The easy way to tell mine from the genuine ones is that mine are painted black on the inside as well as the outside. I made 2 batches, probably about 200 in total. If I remember rightly they were about £35

its got clever wording in that add, doesn't claim to be something its not, but just alludes to it.
