OK Nick , then I can see if its worth going into the newsagents to buy a copy to keep with the cars file or whether a screen print will do

I love how far you’re going with this. It’s a proper project you can really get your teeth into.

I won't have any teeth left by the end of this one
I sort of can see the light of the end of the tunnel now, regarding losing all of the rotten metalwork.
Jeremy, you might get it back in 10 years time

A bit of food for thought Andy. When I did mine, I kept the right hand flitch panel for some reason, probably to take some servo hole measurements for later or maybe to identify the correct white. Long after it was finished I found the old flitch panel that I'd kept. That lone panel now hangs in my garage to remind me of how bad it all was. You've GOT to have a panel like that to show at the end of '.....the book' as 'the epilogue'.

Got a few to choose from Peter, but yes, a good idea. I've got both flitch panels in the garage so may well hang on to them. The R/H one is especially bad !!
Was hoping to get a bit further today but the crap weather stopped me from cutting the donor roof section from the scrap shell, but I did fit the replacement cant rail corner, after cutting the holes in it for the swivelling sun visor mount.
You'll see I brazed the cant rail corner to front rail lap joint together - there is actually some 'factory' brass in the cant corner to inner screen panel joint, more of a tack than a securing weld. Nice to use the oxy/acetylene torch for a change to the MIG or spot welder. They all have their uses

Andrew
Could you tell me from where you got the new boot floor from?
Seems correct to Mk 1 style where the fuel line comes through from the fuel pump?
Thanks
Richard

I struck lucky on eBay Richard.
It is an old Austin Rover labelled panel and is pretty much correct.
Just had to remove the later fuel tank strap bracket and weld a couple of holes up at the back.

Finished repairing the passenger roof section along with replacement of the upper side panel/gutter above the door. Still got to do from the B post back but I think that is just upper side panel/gutter replacement, no roof repairs.
Just started on the drivers roof, not as bad as the passenger side and the upper side panel is pretty good, so less to do !!
I'll be so glad to get it out of the rustic supports, brace frame and in the rotisserie, just to make life working a little easier

Very good work, my roof and gutter repairs fortunately didn’t go that extensive but it was the repairs I was most worried about doing.
